We have been inculcated into participating in democracy in certain ways:
1. We digest the news.
2. We vote.
3. We protest.
4. We write letters.
5. We post articles and memes on the internet.
6. We donate.
7. We do the drudgery work for political parties during the elections.
These are all acceptable ways to participate in democracy.
And we have been inculcated that we can bend the will of the overly ambitious people who want to govern us by working the above list.
Maybe that participation worked a few decades ago, but I’m not so sure anymore.
How is it working for you?
Would you like to hear about a different kind of participation?
